The Story of
Our Resilience
Formed in 1994 on the auspicious occasion of Gandhi Jayanti, MGSS was born from the vision of Shrimati Radhika Mishra. Having served in the Community Development Department since 1956, she witnessed firsthand the struggles of the marginalized. Today, we continue that legacy, focusing extensively on women's health, education, and climate resilience across the heartlands of Uttar Pradesh.

Foundation of a Legacy
Established on Gandhi Jayanti to realize the dream of Gram Swaraj and empower the marginalized Dalit community.


Rural Healthcare Mobilization
Partnered with NRHM to select and train 205 ASHA workers, strengthening the community health backbone in 70 panchayats.

Education for All (SSA)
Mainstreamed 540 drop-out children through intensive 6-month residential bridge courses supported by Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan.



Legal Empowerment
Launch of Vidhik Saksharta Shivir, providing women with critical knowledge of their fundamental rights and legal protection.




Community Health Program
Launched the C.H.P. initiative in partnership with TATA Trusts, transforming maternal and child healthcare delivery.


Financial Inclusion
Training in micro-finance and food processing, enabling Nari Sangh members to build sustainable livelihoods through self-help groups.




Skill Development & Livelihood
Expansion into vocational training including Bee Keeping and tailoring for sustainable rural self-employment.

Empowering citizens for accountable governance, establishing planning and monitoring systems at the Gram Panchayat level.
